Warranty on Shutter Frame and Shutter Panel

Eclipse® Shutters are warranted against such defects in material that might result in blistering, peeling, flaking, corroding, and fading of the shutter frame or panel members for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of installation. This Warranty on the Polyresin3® frame and Polyresin3® panels shall remain in effect only if normal cleaning practices are followed periodically (see section: Maintenance and Cleaning).

5 Year Warranty on Hardware

Eclipse® warrants that the hardware will remain in good operational condition for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation.

General Conditions

This Warranty must be received by Eclipse Shutters no later than thirty (30) days after the completed installation using the online registration form (eclipseshutters.com/warranty-registration). This will ensure the property owner is entitled to the 25 Year Warranty. The Warranty stipulated in this document is the only warranty applicable to Eclipse® Shutters and is granted in lieu of any warranties otherwise implied by law or equity and no such warranties shall apply to Eclipse Shutters 25 Year Warranty.

Product Use
This Warranty applies only in respect to products used strictly for the purpose for which they were intended. Eclipse Shutters are intended for internal use only.
Warranty Limitations
Eclipse Shutters liability is limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement, at the option of Eclipse and under no circumstances will Eclipse be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as, but not limited to, labor costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage or injury to persons or to property, or any other expense.
Replacement Parts or Repairs
Eclipse reserves the right to discontinue or change any Eclipse shutter as currently manufactured. If an exact replacement part is not available, Eclipse® reserves the right to substitute parts of equal quality at its sole option.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

The following are excluded from coverage under this Warranty:

Exposure to air pollutants and normal atmospheric conditions may cause all Polyresin3 surfaces to gradually suffer an accumulation of surface dirt or stains. These are normal occurrences and are not covered under the Eclipse® Warranty.
Any defect, malfunction, or failure to perform which has occurred because of unreasonable use, improper application, or failure to perform reasonable or necessary maintenance.
Any damage to the shutters or components of the shutters caused by settlement or structural defects of the building in which they are installed.
Any damage caused by wind, hail, lightning, or other acts of God, intentional acts, accidents, negligence, or exposure to harmful chemicals or pollutants.
Damage caused by improper handling or installation.
Any shutter which has been repaired or modified or attempted to have been repaired or modified by any person other than a duly authorized representative of Eclipse Shutters.
Shutters are light controlling but not black out.
Shutters made without divider rails that are too wide or too high are not warranted.
Effective Date of Warranty

This Warranty will take effect the date the installation of the shutters has been completed. The registration must be submitted online (eclipseshutters.com/warranty-registration) to Eclipse Shutters no later than thirty (30) days from the date of installation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Polyresin3 materials are closer to “maintenance free” than any other building material. However, surfaces may become dirty. Normal maintenance requires washing with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. For difficult to remove dirt and stains, water-based household cleaners can be used. Chlorine-based cleaners or other cleaners containing organic solvents could affect the surface appearance and durability of the product.

Procedure and Conditions of Warranty Remedy

Repairs are done at the Eclipse plant. Shutters must be brought to Eclipse or an Eclipse fabricator. Eclipse will not be responsible for any costs incurred in transporting shutters to and from the Eclipse plant. In the event that the Eclipse obligation under this Warranty is sought, the Owner must notify the Dealer/Distributor in writing within thirty (30) days after the defect has first appeared. Such notification must contain the following:

Name and address of the Owner.
Date of installation.
A brief description of the defect.

A Lifetime Guarantee

The Hunter Douglas Lifetime Guarantee is an expression of our desire to provide a thoroughly satisfying experience when selecting, purchasing and living with your window fashion products. If you are not thoroughly satisfied, simply contact Hunter Douglas Inc. at 1-800-789-0331 or contact us with an email. In support of this policy of consumer satisfaction, we offer our Lifetime Limited Warranty as described below. You can register your warranty here.

Covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty

Hunter Douglas window fashion products are covered for defects in materials, workmanship or failure to operate for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are provided below)
All internal mechanisms.
Components and brackets.
Fabric delamination.
Operational cords for a full 7 years from the date of purchase.
Repairs and/or replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
Hunter Douglas motorization components are covered for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Not Covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty

Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.
Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product.
Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/ moisture) and discoloration or fading over time.
Failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance.
Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation.

Contact your original dealer (place of purchase) for warranty assistance.
If you are not the original owner, we may be able to provide you with repair parts and instructions free of charge. Visit our Parts Request form and submit your request to us or contact your local dealer for assistance. There will be costs associated with the repair. To complete your warranty registration online, visit our Warranty Registration page. If you received a warranty registration card with your shipment, you can also either text the image with the camera icon to 71403. Alternatively, go to our US site or Canadian site and enter the code shown under the camera icon. If you have any issues entering your code, you can select “Use your model number or product name” at the bottom of the screen to manually enter your information.

Note: In no event shall Hunter Douglas or its licensed fabricators/distributors be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other indirect damage, loss, cost or expense. The Hunter Douglas Lifetime Limited Warranty is applicable for U.S. customers only. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Different warranty periods and terms apply for commercial products and applications.

A Lifetime Guarantee

Oasis® Solar Screen Patio and Window Shades
Five Year Limited Warranty

Insolroll’s Oasis Patio and Window Shades are warranted for defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of manufacture. The warranty applies to
fabric, hardware, Somfy motors and Somfy controls.
This warranty does not cover any product, which fails due to accident, alterations, misuse,
abuse, neglect, acts of nature, improper handling, installation or maintenance of the product or
failure to follow instructions for installing or operating the product. Insolroll does not warrant
against freight damage.
Warranty excludes damage due to exposure to salt water, gradual fading due to UV degradation
and normal wear. The warranty does not apply to fabric damage resulting from improper
cleaning or maintenance. The warranty does not cover wind related damage.

Insolroll does not warrant against fading or degradation of digitally printed images.
The Insolroll warranty is valid only for products owned by the original end user and installed in
the original location. At its option, Insolroll will repair or replace any product which fails to
conform to this warranty. This shall be the sole remedy of the buyer under this warranty. In no
event shall Insolroll be liable for transportation costs to return the product, costs of removal or
reinstallation of the product or incidental or consequential damages. Any alteration or repair
that is not performed or authorized by Insolroll will void this warranty. Some states do not allow
the exclusion of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.

Mid South Window Fashions, LLC provides a lifetime warranty on all their
manufactured shutter products.

The product is warranted against original defects in materials or workmanship for
the lifetime of the product.

This lifetime warranty extends only to you as the original purchaser of the
product.

Mid South Window Fashions will repair or replace any part or product found to be
defective.
